Stillness and heat
Stand still enough to see. Keep enough heat to decide. When the heat is gone, the group story is easier than holding yourself.

A useful pair in the old language: inner stillness, inner motion. Shiva as the one who does not flinch. Shakti as the heat that actually moves. You need both. Stillness without heat is freeze. Heat without stillness is weather.
Buddhi is the cut: this, not that. That cut is easier when there is heat in the system. When the heat is gone, holding the group story is cheaper than holding yourself.
This is not a call to burn the house. It is a call to notice whether you still have the warmth to discriminate, or only the overlay.
The inner map is Citta, manas, buddhi, ahamkara.
